【ストーリー】

傾きかけた家を守るため、少女は名も知らぬ男との結婚を決意した。

だがその矢先、弟が古い本を手にしたまま謎の焼身自殺を図る。

混乱する少女の前に現れたのは【帝国図書情報資産管理局】通称【フクロウ】。

彼等によれば【稀モノ】という、読んだ者に大きな影響を及ぼす本が存在するらしい。

更に少女はその弟の事件が切っ掛けで【アウラ】が視えるようになってしまう。

まるで運命が―――彼女をその炎に引きずり込もうとするかのように。

そうして少女は戸惑いながらも鳥籠の外に出ることを選ぶのだった。

嫉妬、憎悪、侮蔑、憐憫―――そして愛。

少女を待ち受けていたのは、幾つもの裏切りが妖しくちりばめられた帝都の闇。
